if someone rejects your use of the word “dude” or “man” or any word that can be taken in a gender-specific context because of their gender identity (or anything, really) how about you don’t be a prick and respect the fact that they were uncomfortable enough with you saying it to tell you “i’m a girl” or “i’m not a boy” or “can you not call me that” or anything along those lines and just NOT CALL THEM THAT they’re not asking you to take it out of your entire vocabulary jesus
